Welcome

Welcome to my Home Page. I live in Chelmsford, Essex and have lived here since 1971. I came here from Selby in Yorkshire and was born (image on right is my place of birth) in the village of Hambleton in West Yorkshire which is about 4 miles from Selby . I later moved to Portsmouth because my father was in the Royal Navy. I returned to Hambleton in the early sixties and went to the local school in Hambleton which was next door to my Grandparents home where I was born. After a couple of years in Hambleton we moved to Selby and went to the Abbey School in New Lane (see below) until I was eleven and then went to the New Abbots Road Secondary School.
